Location
The Hotel Anticos Palathos is located in Orosei and its position offers a variety of possibilities to visit the surrounding as the nature of the mountains of the Barbagia area, the various suggestive beaches, the numerous archaeological sites and the interminable cultural occasions. Only around 2 km away is the beach “Marina di Orosei” which can be reached by bicycle through a cycle path. In the centre of Orosei the participation of local festivities and traditional ceremony can be lived. Nuoro, the main town of the homonymous area is around 40 minutes drive away.

Hotel
From the refurbishment of an ancient palace, functional suites of elevated standard have come to life. Wide internal yards coloured by Mediterranean essences propose a suggestive frame while one relax in the exterior spaces. The  original structure has been respected and the ancient reception areas, kitchen and noble rooms have now been turned into modern suites which open to the yard.

In total the Hotel Anticos Palathos offers 8 rooms. Every room has a particular and different architecture as well as furniture and colours. They are furnished in a traditional way with bath room, hairdryer, air-condition, TV, DVD player, mini bar and safe.
Suite Standard Le Spighe & Le Rose – are double bedrooms with bathroom with shower and a kitchenette.
Suite Standard Corallo, Poesias - private entrance, veranda. Max 2 persons with possibility of adding a cot. The Suite Corallo Room is also equipped with a cozy fireplace.
Suite Standard Nostalgie - Independent entrance, bathroom with shower. Max 2 persons with possibility of extra bed and cot.
Junior Suite Stella Marina & Canne al Vento – this Junior Suites have additionally a living area with bed sofa and are an ideal accommodation for up to 3 person. The Junior Suite Stella Marina has a Jacuzzi in the bathroom, while The Junior Suite Canne al Vento has a Veranda.
Junior Suite Superior Emozioni e Diamante– is a gem of lodging – perfect for honeymoon guests or guests who like to fully enjoy and relax. This special Junior Suite is furnished with a double bed, a bathroom with shower, a living area with a divan, eating table and in one corner is a Jacuzzi ideal for relaxing moments. Panoramic view on the sea and the historic centre. The Junior Suite Diamante has a bathroom with shower.
Suite (2-bedroom apartment) Le Conchiglie & La Perla – these Suites have two separate rooms, one bedroom with bathroom with shower and one living room with sitting facilities and sofa bed. Panoramic view on the sea and the historic centre. These accommodations can be booked up to 4 persons.

Restaurant
The restaurant has conserved and given back new energy to the ambiences, objects and the well which was the meeting point in ancient times and also mentioned in the archaic rites “going to the well”. The fireplace of the barbecue is the place where to stay in company. Breakfast will be offered in a nice breakfast room. The wine cellar reserves happy surprises. Particular and personal dinners on meat or fish basis can be organised on request.

Not far away the Gennargentu-Supramonte mountains massif is situated with some famous naturalistic places like the grotto Ispinigoli or Su Gorroppu Canyon. Furthermore, don’t miss the Park of Grazia Deledda.
