Location
The Hotel Marinedda Thalasso & Spa, about one hour by car far from Olbia and Alghero and 40 minutes from the ports of S. Teresa and Porto Torres, is located just a few hundred metres from the amazing beach of Marinedda and one kilometre from the picturesque fishing village of Isola Rossa in the Gulf of Asinara (North Sardinia). This charming little village is worth a visit, with its port in red granite and its wooden fishing boats, the Aragonese tower. It offers also a romantic seafront walk with shops and piano-bars, wonderful beaches and stunning sunsets.

The hotel Marinedda Thalasso & Spa, part of the Hotel Chain Delphina Hotels & Resorts , holds a unique position: it is located right in front of one of the most beautiful sea panoramas in the whole Sardinia and leads down to a gorgeous beach just 250 metres from the main swimming pool of the complex where you may find many services including bar, one of the hotel restaurants and the important Centre of Thalassotherapy and Spa. At about 250 metres far from the hotel (about 300-500 metres from the rooms) is placed the amazing public beach of Marinedda, where it is possible to hire umbrellas and sun-beds and take sailing lessons (to be paid locally). People who love strolling by the sea may discover the bays with beautiful red rock coasting the beach, and enjoy the crystal clear water, typical of Sardinian sea, surrounded by a perfumed and completely unspoiled nature.
From Isola Rossa (around 1 km) you can reach, by rubber dinghy (5 mins) or on foot (30 minutes), the wonderful long and wild shore of Badesi where you can still experience a “bath amidst nature”, gathering shells and drift-wood left behind by the tide. The hotel boasts as well two beautiful pools (besides those at the Health Centre) both with bar service. One is with sea-water and closer to the beach, with various services including a restaurant with fantastic sea view. The other, fresh-water, is in the main part of the hotel with panoramic terraces where breakfast is usually served.

Breakfast is served on a elegantly and rich buffet at the panoramic terrace around the pool. For dinner it is renowned for its high-quality restaurants and Hotel Marinedda Thalasso & Spa happily confirms this tradition with an excellent cuisine, offering its guests rich theme buffets or elegant dinners with table service.
The two-levelled main restaurant “Petra Ruja”, with amazing views of the bay, offers excellent buffets with refined regional and mediterranean cuisine and theme evenings. In off season the management might replace the buffet with table service. Two panoramic restaurants with table service and candle light: Punta Caneddi without supplement, Tramonto with around ˆ 12,00 supplement for the menu of the day (reservation required for both); furthermore available menu à la carte on payment.
The Mediterranean Brunch from 12.30–2pm serves light lunch without giving up the pleasure of good cookery: a buffet of hot pasta dishes, delicious cold dishes with a selection of cereals, legumes, vegetables, salads and fruits.
