Bathed by a stream that flows down to the sea, the estate includes a charming lake area, the Stagno Saloni, where various species of birds nest and pass through.

Enveloped in the silence of a fertile plain, dominated by a still wild nature, the Retreat occupies a strategic position that allows you to fully experience Gallura and the Costa Smeralda: to the north, the Gulf of Arzachena and, beyond the sea, the Archipelago of La Maddalena; to the east, Porto Cervo; to the south, the village of San Pantaleo; to the west, the Gallura of stazzi, granite, vineyards and archaeological sites.

Cascioni Eco Retreat is 25 km from Olbia - Costa Smeralda Airport, 13 km from Porto Cervo, 1 km from Baia Sardinia, 20 km from Palau and 42 km from Santa Teresa di Gallura.

Hotel

Cascioni Eco Retreat is a private retreat, offering its guests the irresistible allure of a unique natural setting. In line with its setting, the Retreat evokes the atmosphere and lifestyle of the stazzo, the characteristic farmhouse of Gallura, offering an intimate and exclusive experience.

The main building houses the reception and the restaurant, with a stone fireplace and a large mezzanine; in the portico, the lounge bar overlooks the lawn and the panoramic pool; to the side, we find the wellness centre, with its heated pool and sauna; under the building, the wine cellar is an evocative space dedicated to tastings. 

A few steps away, across the courtyard or the olive grove, are the Suites.

Rooms

The Cascioni Eco Retreat has just fifteen suites, exclusive and private retreats, divided between Deluxe Pool Suite and Prestige Pool Suite. 

Each accommodation features a portico overlooking the private garden, a sumptuous heated swimming pool and a relaxing view over the countryside or towards the sea.

The refined simplicity of the style, characterised by the widespread use of natural materials, conceals the latest comforts and technologies for a relaxing stay.

Sport and Wellness

The constant search for wellness and psychophysical balance animates the activities of the estate which, surrounded by the silence of the Gallura countryside, has several paths that can be followed on foot or by bicycle and, along the stream and the pond, several resting points where you can practice birdwatching or simply relax. The more daring can reach the bay of Cannigione by kayak, sailing along the waterway.

The Retreat's wellness centre is inspired by the harmony of natural elements: the sauna is scented with helichrysum, lavender and myrtle, massages rely on the virtues of olive oil and the herbal tea room offers infusions made from local herbs. The centre offers guests: sauna, Turkish bath, heated swimming pool, hydromassage and thalassotherapy.

Restaurant

Careful guardian of the Sardinian gastronomic tradition, the chef proposes a natural cuisine, based on the use of the finest local raw materials, often coming from the estate itself: the products of the vegetable garden and orchard and the excellent extra virgin olive oil of the estate are placed side by side with the extraordinary wines of the island, the cheeses and the mountain salami, the incredible preparations, legacy of millenary traditions.

A very personal gastronomic itinerary awaits guests, who, day after day, can choose whether to eat in the Retreat or in one of the estate restaurants along the coast.

Under the porticoes of the estate, the few tables of the Ulia restaurant overlook the garden, offering a menu faithful to the simplicity and naturalness of Sardinian cuisine. 

The Fattoria La Colti, a few minutes away, is an old stazzo on the family estate, where you can rediscover the local gastronomic tradition in a rustic setting.

On the beach in Cannigione is the Cutter Lounge & Restaurant, a well-kept, informal restaurant where you can enjoy delicious salads, gourmet pizzas and specialities from both land and sea.

Services & Activities

Guests at Cascioni Eco Retreat can enjoy the incredible outdoor spaces of the estate: 18 hectares of parkland with vegetable garden, olive grove and oil mill, 36 hectares of nature reserve, outdoor swimming pool with deckchairs and parasols, lounge under the trees with hammocks and garden furniture.

There are also spacious and welcoming relaxation areas and interiors: the lounge with fireplace, the small Sardinian library, the herbal tea room, the wellness centre with outdoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath, and the gym equipped with Technogym machines.

The Cascioni Eco Retreat offers a wide range of services and activities for a fee.

As far as food and wine experiences are concerned, it is possible to request: an area reserved for romantic dinners in the restaurant, candlelight dinners in the olive grove, private picnics in the garden, fruit and vegetable jam making workshops, wine and olive oil tasting, personalised lunches and dinners.

Guests will have the opportunity to participate in the olive harvest, assist in the preparation of traditional recipes and take part in the oil tasting ritual.

Guests can enjoy yoga and Pilates in the park, massages and wellness treatments in the spa.

The property offers themed excursions, food and wine workshops and tours, horse riding, hiking and mountain climbing.

It is possible to book an excursion on board the private sailing yacht BonAria, in the La Maddalena archipelago and on board the private motorboat AriaBona, in Tavolara, Molara or Corsica.

It is also possible to organise private meetings in the heart of the olive mill or under the trees in the park, as well as renting the entire retreat for events, weddings and private parties.
