Location

Nicolaus Prime Tirreno Resort is located in Cala Liberotto, along the eastern coast of Sardinia, surrounded by a lush 5-hectare garden with palm trees, pine trees and exotic vegetation.
The beach is just 50 metres away and can be reached by crossing a local road and a small pine grove.
Orosei is approximately 12 km away, while Olbia airport and port are about 70 km from the resort.

Hotel

The Nicolaus Prime Tirreno Resort consists of a four-storey main building, served by two lifts and facing the sea, together with a series of bungalows set within the gardens behind the swimming pool and restaurant. The resort offers 166 accommodation units, two restaurants, a pool bar and several areas dedicated to relaxation and sports activities.
The large swimming pool features a waterslide, an artificial stream and a whirlpool area. A separate children’s pool is also available within the Mini Club area, surrounded by the pine grove.
Facilities are completed by four synthetic-grass tennis courts, a multipurpose five-a-side football and basketball court, minigolf, bowls, table tennis, a fitness area and a meeting room.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the Resort, except on the beach.

Rooms 

The 166 rooms and suites are located in the main building and in the bungalows set within the garden.

The Bungalow Classic, accommodating up to 3 guests, feature simple furnishings and are located on the ground floor in the case of triple rooms, or on the first floor for double rooms. Most of the units have connecting doors. The Bungalow Superior offer the same features as the Classic rooms but have been fully renovated, including both furnishings and bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower enclosure and bidet. The Family Rooms, located in the main building, feature modern furnishings and consist of an entrance area, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The Family Garden rooms are located on the ground floor and can accommodate up to 4 guests, while rooms on the upper floors can, in some cases, accommodate up to 5 guests thanks to a single sofa bed in the double bedroom. The Suites, accommodating up to 5 guests, consist of a living room with sofa bed, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The Suite Panorama, located on the third floor, can accommodate up to 4 guests and features a living room, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a spacious terrace with sea view.

All accommodation units feature a balcony or patio furnished with a table, chairs and clothes drying rack, bathroom with shower, hairdryer and courtesy set, TV, safe, telephone, air conditioning, minibar with drinks at an additional charge and an espresso coffee machine with coffee pods available at an extra cost.

Ground-floor bungalows suitable for guests with disabilities are also available, accommodating up to 3 people.

Beach

The beautiful beach of Cala Liberotto is a true gem on the Sardinian east coast and it is only 50 metres from the resort. To access it guests just have to cross the municipal road and a small pine forest. The crystal clear and gently sloping sea is ideal for younger children. The beach is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, included in the price of the stay from the third row until exhaustion. The restrooms are located at the Corallo restaurant, close to the beach, showers before entering the hotel.

Families

Nicolaus Prime Tirreno Resort pays particular attention to families and its youngest guests.

The Nicolino Mini Club, for children aged 3 to 6, and the Nicolino Kids Club, for children aged 6 to 12, offer creative activities, games and entertainment in a covered and fully equipped area. Children can also enjoy a dedicated swimming pool located in the pine grove.

Families also have access to a baby feeding area, available throughout the day and equipped with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, blender, tableware, placemats and high chairs. During restaurant opening hours, a selection of basic products for younger children is available, including vegetable broth, vegetable purée, fresh tomato sauce, small pasta, UHT whole milk, yoghurt, jams, individually wrapped biscuits, fresh fruit, boiled meat and fish. Fresh or powdered milk, baby food and other specific products for infants are not provided.

For children aged 0 to 3 years, the Nicolino Card is compulsory. A cot is available on request, subject to availability and at an additional charge.

Restaurant

The main restaurant features an air-conditioned dining room and an outdoor veranda and offers buffet service, with the same table assigned to guests for the entire stay. During the week, the resort organises a Sardinian Evening, dedicated to traditional regional flavours, and a Fisherman’s Evening, featuring fish-based dishes; meat and vegetarian alternatives are always available. Close to the beach, the Il Corallo restaurant offers an à la carte menu with seafood and meat specialities. For stays of at least 7 nights, the All Inclusive formula includes one lunch with a dedicated menu, available by reservation from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays; drinks are not included.

At the pool bar, guests can enjoy the Late Breakfast Corner, with a light breakfast served from 9:45 am to 11:00 am, including coffee bar products and croissants. Breakfast also includes the Nature & Wellness Corner, with a selection of products such as rice cakes, soy and rice milk, honey, cereals, corn flakes and apple juice.

Food Intolerance: For guests with gluten or lactose intolerances, a selection of packaged products is available, including bread, pasta, biscuits and ice cream. Any food intolerances must be reported at the time of booking. The property does not have a separate kitchen for the preparation of gluten-free dishes and therefore cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination, except for pre-packaged products.

All Inclusive: The All Inclusive formula includes breakfast, lunch and dinner at the main restaurant, with drinks included at meals: still and sparkling bottled mineral water, house white and red wine, beer and soft drinks on tap. From 9:00 am to midnight, the Pool Bar serves mineral water and soft drinks on tap, iced tea, fruit juices, beer, hot drinks, limoncello, mirto and lemon or coffee sorbet. From 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, snacks such as focaccia or pizza, hamburgers or frankfurters and chips are available, while an alcoholic and non-alcoholic aperitif is served from 7:15 pm to 7:45 pm. The formula does not include food and drinks at the Il Corallo restaurant and bar, alcoholic beverages and spirits not expressly included, bottled or canned drinks, ice cream, packaged snacks, or light and zero-sugar drinks; these are available at an additional charge.

Very important: The stay in All Inclusive basis starts with dinner on the day of arrival and ends with lunch on the day of departure.

Sport

Guests at Valtur have at their disposal four synthetic grass tennis courts, a multi-purpose five-a-side football/basketball/volleyball court, table tennis, bocce, minigolf and a fitness area with basic equipment and changing rooms.

Services & Activities

Guests have access to Wi-Fi throughout the Resort, a laundry and ironing service at an additional charge, a massage area, babysitting service on request, bicycle and mountain bike rental through an external provider, and the possibility to book excursions.

Internal parking is available at an additional charge, upon reservation and subject to availability; free parking areas are also available near the Resort.

The Club Card, compulsory from 3 years of age and costing €70 per person per week, includes beach service with one parasol and two sun loungers per room from the third row onwards, beach towel hire with a deposit and one midweek change, use of the swimming pools and sun terraces, daytime and evening entertainment, activities for adults and children, group sports courses, access to the gym and daytime use of the sports facilities.

The Nicolaus Premium Package is also available at an additional charge and subject to limited availability, at a cost of €280 per room per week. It includes an initial Premium minibar selection, a fruit basket in the room upon arrival, evening turndown service, daily beach towel change for guests over 3 years of age, a courtesy set with bathrobes and slippers for two adults, one 30-minute massage for two people, and a gift for adults or children.

For children aged 0 to 3 years, the Nicolino Card is compulsory and costs €112 per week, payable at the time of booking. A cot is available on request and subject to availability, at a cost of €10 per day payable locally; a maximum of one cot per room is allowed.

Pets: Small pets weighing up to 10 kg are allowed on request. Dogs, cats, rabbits and caged birds are accepted at a supplement of €20 per day, payable locally. Pets are not allowed in the swimming pool area, sports facilities, playground, bars, restaurants or private beach area.
