It has an enviable position, because is located in the middle of a luxuriant 6-hectares park at the foot of Gennargenntu mountains and near the river Flumendosa. Sa Muvara is placed in the south side of Aritzo village, not far from the centre, that is reachable by car in 5 minutes and on foot in 10 minutes. Its owners, Mr and Mrs Pala, have contributed to increase the value of this mountainous area of Nuoro, which has an old tourist vocation, whose strong point is the beauty of nature and the preservation of the ancient traditions. To mention is definitely the chestnut feast, an ancient festival which takes place during the last Sunday of October and attracts thousands of tourists from several parts of the island. Sa Muvara is 71 km from Nuoro, 170 km from Olbia airport, 110 km from Cagliari airport.
