Hotel Airone ****

Location

Surrounded by green vegetation and the silhouettes of granite shaped by the wind, Hotel Airone looks out like a small village over the lagoon of Cannigione, with a view of the entire Gulf.

The hotel is ideally located to reach the main routes: about 25 km from the port and airport of Olbia, 8 km from Porto Cervo and a few minutes from the beautiful beaches of the Costa Smeralda.

Just 700 metres away is the beach of Lu Postu. 

Hotel

Hotel Airone overlooks the Gulf of Cannigione, just a few steps from the sea. It is built like a small village and is surrounded by a beautiful 4-hectare park. At guests' disposal: a swimming pool, a mini-club, sports fields, sports activities and entertainment for adults and children.

Rooms

The 65 rooms, designed as small annexes, overlook the central square, the swimming pool or the park for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. All rooms are equipped with telephone, satellite TV, wi-fi connection, air conditioning or independent heating, minibar and private bathroom with shower and hairdryer.

Beach

Hotel Airone offers its guests beach service at the beaches of Ea Bianca, Porto Sole and Baia Sardinia, respectively 2 km, 4 km and 5 km from the hotel. 

The beach service (2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella), available from 1st June to 30th September, can be requested directly on site. The daily cost is 30 euros per spot.

Guests with pets can access the non-equipped beach of Lu Postu, which is 700 m from the hotel and can be easily reached on foot via a footpath.

The affiliated beaches and the centre of Baja Sardinia can be reached via the free daytime transfer service, available upon reservation.

Families

Children from 4 to 12 years old can play with lots of new friends in the mini-club (free service) supervised by qualified staff who will organise numerous activities for them at set times (service available from 16/06 to 31/08).

Restaurant

The restaurant, with a large, sunny terrace, serves Mediterranean cuisine with a focus on Sardinian specialities.

An international breakfast is served from 07:30 to 10:00. Lunch is served from 13:00 to 14:00, with an à la carte menu and the chef's proposal of the day. Dinner with a choice from the daily menu is served at the table. Hors d'oeuvres and vegetables buffet and dessert buffet from June to September. In spring and autumn the restaurant is open from 19:30 to 21:00, from June to September from 20:00 to 23:00.

The chef is available to prepare dishes for those with special dietary needs such as celiac disease or tasty vegetarian menus.

Sport

For guests who love sport, the Hotel Airone has a swimming pool-hydromassage, a swimming pool for adults with an area dedicated to children, a ping-pong table, two bowling greens, two renovated tennis courts with the possibility of renting equipment and individual and group courses held by a tennis instructor (for a fee), a children's playground, a five-a-side football pitch, a basketball area and a specialised bike centre. 

In the hotel's charming park (approximately 40,000 m²), guests can exercise and enjoy the beautiful landscape that surrounds the hotel in every season.

Services and Activities

At guests' disposal: a swimming pool and Jacuzzi, a swimming pool for adults with an area dedicated to children, a playground, a table tennis table, two bowling greens and two tennis courts, a five-a-side football pitch, a basketball area and a specialised bike centre.

The bike hire service allows guests to make guided or independent excursions, on road or dirt tracks, allowing them to discover the most hidden corners of the Costa Smeralda. 

For a fee, there is an equestrian centre 900 m away, with the possibility of rides on the beach starting directly from the hotel.

Small animals are welcome (15 euros per day).
