VOI Tanka Village ****

Location

VOI Tanka Village is located on the south-eastern tip of Sardinia, 1 km from Villasimius and approx. 50 km from the centre of Cagliari.

Hotel
Directly overlooking the beach of Simius, famous for its white sand and its crystal clear sea, the hotel is located within the Marine Protected Area of Capo Carbonara.

Having completed the first phase of renovation in 2023, VOI Tanka Village will have a new look in many areas and services such as reception, restaurants and the central square, in the rooms of the NEW VOI Tanka Selected, in the Family Apartments and in the Domus. It is spread across an area of 43 hectares of mainly flat land that slopes down towards the sea, and lies deep in the Mediterranean brush.

Guest rooms and commun areas are linked by a network of avenues and lanes open only to pedestrians and cyclists. All guest services can be found in the resort’s central area located a mere 200 m from the beach. All commun areas provide unrestricted disabled access.

The resort overlooks a stunning bay, bordered on one side by Isola dei Cavoli and on the other by Isola di Serpentara, nowadays a Marine Protected Area. 

The resort has been awarded the GSTC label, which guarantees the sustainability of the tourism enterprise by meeting social, economic and environmental requirements.

Rooms

The Resort offers a variety of accommodation types: Monte Garden and Monte Superior (located on the hillside), Casbah Standard and Casbah Superior (in the central area of the village), Domus Standard (second floor, renovated in 2025) and Domus Junior Suite (quadruple rooms on the ground floor and triple rooms on the first floor, renovated in 2025), Dimora Family Apartment (renovated in 2024), Deluxe Double, Deluxe Junior Suite and Suite Villas.

The rooms differ in size, proximity to the sea, location within the Resort, and level of dedicated services.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, satellite TV, mini fridge, and safe.

Beach
The beach has fine white sand and slopes gently down towards the sea – perfect for beach games, walks along the water’s edge or for letting children play freely together. It is about 200 meters from the central services of the resort.

The beach is a service not included in the price of the stay: the position of the beach umbrellas and sunbeds can be chosen according to the room booked; the beach reservation is valid from the day after arrival. The beach reservation must be made immediately after the confirmation of your stay and the cost will be paid directly at the hotel. Alternatively, it is possible to book the beach service directly on spot (according to availability). Beach towels available on deposit (euro 10) change fee (euro 2). 

Wellness Centre
Tanka Spa offers a wide range of services designed to pamper the body and stimulate physical well-being. Try it out and say good-bye to stress and worries. 

Set in a magnificent garden, the spa provides all you could ever wish for when it comes to relaxing, being pampered and sweating it out in the gym. Our spa boasts three large hydro massage pools and thalassotherapy pools, with thalassotherapy treatments offered using an innovative combination of natural substances. In this area, guests will also find the sauna, the Turkish bath, multi-sensory showers and a large relaxation area.

Personalised treatments, including beauty treatments, holistic relaxing massages and shiatsu and Ayurveda massages are also available. In addition, a large gym is available to guests with personal trainers on hand to help. Paid service.

Families

The resort’s staff has always paid great attention to younger guests, with ample space dedicated to kids and teens offering a great chance to enjoy a holiday in absolute freedom, peace of mind and safety.

Services are available from the end of May to mid/first days of October (dates to be defined). 

Voilà Baby (0-2 years) (service with compulsory supplement) – a fully equipped Nursery (sterilisers, bottle-heaters, induction cooktop, saucepans, dishes, mixers, fridge and microwave) available from 07.00 to 23.00. During assistance times (12.00-14.30 and 19.00-21.30) there is availability of specific products (blended vegetal broth, vegetable soup, fresh fruit, homogenized products, fresh milk, yogurt, water, fruit juice, diapers).

Upon advanced request (with a deposit, limited availability), welcome kit including: stroller, baby tub, baby toilet seat, bottle warmer.
Equipped 'sleeping' room from 11.30 am to 7.30 pm. Indoor play area. Baby-sitting service on request for a fee.

Voilà Mini (3-6 years) / Voilà Kids (7-9 years) / Voilà Junior (10-12 years)

Assistance in various languages is available from 09.00 to 21.00 from Mid-June until mid-September; kids may lunch and dine with the activity staff (a free service for guests choosing full board; lunch with extra charge for guests choosing half board) and may take part in craft activities, soccer, tennis (7 years and over) and dance classes (from 3 years). Baby dance and weekly shows. Welcome kit: backpack and hat. Babysitting service for a fee. 

Young Club (13-17 years)

Available from 10 to 24, the Young Club Experience will take care of the older kids allowing them to take part in great sports activities and entertainment, organizing special sports and entertainment activities, not forgetting discos. The resort also offers a play room with videogames and Wi-Fi connection. 

Restaurants
At VOI Tanka Resort a wide and varied selection of food and drink options with buffet or à la carte menu is offered.

The buffet at the Oasys Restaurant, near the beach, (with up to 1800 seats divided into two rooms, one indoor and one outdoor) meets all gastronomic needs with a constantly varied and different menu, ranging from typical Mediterranean and Italian cuisine to traditional Sardinian specialties. Water, soft drinks, house wine, and draft beer are always available without limitations.

Next to the Oasys restaurant and in front of the SPA, you will find the Pizzeria (open from June 1st to September 30th), by reservation and with table service, offering appetizers, pizza, and desserts; you can choose the Pizzeria as an alternative to the Oasys Restaurant or the Mirto Restaurant (as per your selected package).

The Poke & Burger: under a scenic pergola, located in a green corner between the beach and pool, offers poke bowls, meat and fish salads for lunch, available at an extra charge.

The Mirto Restaurant is located near the pool and the central square. The Mirto restaurant is positioned near the pool and the square, with spacious, well-maintained indoor areas in Sardinian style and large panoramic terraces. It serves breakfast and dinner with a buffet service, plus bottled drinks served at the table. Included for guests staying in Domus rooms.

The Mirto Terrace offers a rich and elegant buffet with local and international gourmet options, on the sea-view terrace. Restaurant reserved for guests staying in Deluxe Rooms and Suites.

The Stella di Mare Restaurant delights guests with its delicious barbecue offerings and excellent seafood cuisine. Located next to the beach, it offers à la carte service, by reservation and at an additional charge. It is included for lunch and dinner only for those who book the Premium package. Premium package available only for Deluxe rooms, Deluxe Junior Suites, and Suite Villas (20 euros per person per night).

The Ke Spettacolo Restaurant, located near the beach, offers a new and exciting format, perfect for evenings filled with music and fun. It offers dinner shows and after-dinner entertainment with guests as the main protagonists.

The half-board package in buffet restaurants includes water, house wine, soft drinks, and draft beer.

The opening of the restaurants is at the discretion of the management.

The opening of the Pizzeria, the Mirto Terrace, the Stella di Mare restaurant, and some bars/restaurants is not guaranteed for the entire season or every day of the week.

The Domus Cafeteria: located on the ground floor of the central Domus building, offers a sweet buffet breakfast and coffee for guests of Domus rooms who prefer breakfast in their room without going to Mirto.

The Suite Cafeteria: located in a corner within the Villa court, this exclusive cafeteria offers breakfast just steps away from your Suite.

The Deluxe Lounge, a room at the Voi Tanka Selected, offers breakfast to Beach Hotel guests and brunch to all other guests. Payment on-site.

A selection of gluten-free products will be available for breakfast, and chefs will be fully available to meet any dietary requirements and intolerances.

Available throughout the day: the central bar La Piazzetta, the Nettuno bar on the beach, the Notteri kiosk located on the southern part of the beach, the Dimora Lounge Bar on the terrace overlooking the pool, reserved for Tanka Beach Hotel guests, the Giardino dei Sapori, a lounge area near the sea for aperitifs, after-dinner, and late-night transformed into a nightclub. The Café Botanico: a Gin Bar with high-quality Sardinian and international products, and an indoor billiard room. Finally, the Gelateria in the shopping area offering ice creams, smoothies, and fresh fruit.

Sport

The resort offers guests (free use) 1 eight-a-side football pitch with artificial turf, 1 3x3 basketball hoop, 5 tennis courts, 5 padel courts, 9-hole miniature golf course. Various activities are also available, such as archery, table tennis, canoeing, beach volleyball and beach tennis, windsurfing and snorkelling (some activities are for a fee).

For an extra charge: gym, horse riding, diving and sailing courses; bicycle hire, 18-hole golf course at Tanka Golf Villasimius (with shuttle bus and services for hotel guests. Also available for a fee are various fitness programmes and training in a fully equipped gym, soft gym, aqua gym, aerobic training and stretching. 

Among the sports services available for a fee are the Cagliari Summer Club football school for 5 to 13 year-olds, the Tanka Padel Club, for all bike lovers, the Bianchi Bike School, and finally the Tanka fitness experience with dedicated equipment and personal trainers.

Services & Activities
VOI Tanka Village’s tradition holds that fun is an integral and key part of any holiday. The numerous and varied sporting and entertainment activities have been designed with guests’ satisfaction in mind: during your holiday you will be able to do all those things that you just can’t find time for in your day-to-day life.

Our entertainment staff are all competent professionals, able to respond to each and every request you may have regarding sporting, creative and entertainment activities; 1 mini train to get around the resort (predefined stops and timetables); outdoor, unguarded car park; group sport classes and use of fields and playgrounds; swimming pool and gym (for a fee).

Voi 4 Family (from 23/05/2026 to 03/10/2026)
A small village expressly dedicated to families and their needs, with areas and equipment specially designed for children in terms of comfort and safety. New Voilà park with inflatable pool with slides, trampolines, inflatable games and track for electric mini-quads.

Voi Concierge: organisation of excursions by sea and land. Rental of cars and dinghies.
Services include: Olympic-size swimming pool, children's pool, meeting and conference facilities, bazaar, newspaper kiosk, tobacconist, hairdresser, luggage storage, ATM machine, 24-hour medical service (for a fee), car rental, free train that runs along the main avenues to the beach, electric minibus to the centre of Villasimius (service available at the management's discretion), ENEL X service (electric car charging station), silent cinema under the stars and the VOIHotels App to keep up to date with the Resort's services.

Dog Village – € 70 per room/week, € 10 for each further day. No provision of food; it is not possible to accommodate more than one dog per room.

Conditions:
- valid for stays of at least 7 overnights:
- only small dogs up to max. 10 kg allowed
- allowed only in the permitted areas (not on the beach and restaurants) and only on a leash and with muzzle
- dog bed in room, bowl for food and water.
- a good-health certificate provided by a vet will be required
This extra package is subject to change according to availability. 

WARNING: It is forbidden to bring in and use electric vehicles such as scooters, electric bicycles, etc.

The city tax is € 4.00 per person per overnight, to be paid on-site. Exemptions: minors under the age of 10, self-sufficient and non-self-sufficient disabled persons with one accompanying person. The fee may vary during the season.
