Location
Valle dell’Erica is located on the north of Palau, on the edge of the National Marine Park of La Maddalena – just in front of the wonderful uninhabited island of Spargi. It is Situated 4 kms from the little village of Porto Pozzo with its harbour and shops and only 12 kms far from Santa Teresa Gallura, famously positioned by the straits of Bonifacio. The original construction at Valle dell’Erica dates back to 1958 and was the very first holiday village in Sardinia to be built – at that time there were no restrictions hence its vicinity to the sea - and its owner was a pioneer of the Sardinian tourist industry that was to follow. Thanks to the natural beauty of the area and the quality of the building, it was awarded by the President of the Republic, and this made it one of the exclusive places to stay during the 60’s, with guests including princes and kings.

During 2005 Delphina Hotels & Resort has completely reconstructed the hotel into a superb resort with complete respect for the surrounding nature and in keeping with the original building. It is now equipped with every comfort with the aim to offer the best natural but exclusive holiday. At Only 80 metres from the hotel, (80 – 200 metres from the rooms) you will find the gorgeous bays of Valle dell’Erica, some with free sun-beds and umbrellas reserved for the hotel guests. Confining with the Resort, one big wonderful beach reachable by foot.

The resort holds a unique and unbeatable position, just a few metres from the stupendous white sandy bays with time-sculptured rocks and immersed in one of the most beautiful natural areas on the whole island. Thanks to the many private areas, the numerous little bays reachable by foot, the romantic rooms with panoramic verandas, the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the Thalasso & SPA Centre along with all the services on offer, this is a truly wonderful oasis of peace, perfect for couples.

The resort Valle Dell'Erica is also suited to families as there are large open spaces where children can safely play without disturbing adults plus there is an equipped mini club and one children’s swimming pool. As well as the crystal clear sea and the superb scenery, the resort offers a wonderful sea water swimming pool just a few metres from the coast, one pool for children and a prestigious Thalasso & Spa Centre. After dinner, in the piazzetta , the resort offers live music and occasional shows.

Rooms
140 rooms total including suites – completely renovated in 2005, just 80 to 200 metres from the sea. All rooms are on ground level with independent entrances, furnished by refined interior decorators in typical Mediterranean style and enriched of local handcraft items, have covered verandas furnished with 2 deckchairs (or table and 2 chairs), bathroom with shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, Sky TV, safe, minibar, beach towels and bathrobes for adults. Sea view is possible with a supplement and cots have to be requested on booking.

Junior Suite Erica – bedroom with double bed, lounge area with fixed single sofa bed, bathroom with shower (2 – 3rd person until 16 years plus cot on request)
Junior Suite Mirtilla – bedroom with double (or twin beds, upon request), lounge area with 2 armchair beds, bathroom with shower (2 - 3rd and 4th person until 16 years plus cot on request)
President Sea View – prestigious bedroom (63 mq + 30 mq veranda) with superb view and spacious panoramic veranda, 2 bathrooms, hydromassage bath (2/3/4 persons plus cot on request)
Wellness centre rooms – 6 rooms (Giglio/Orchidea) suited to couples looking for something really special. Spacious rooms with beautiful verandas that have been furnished with relaxation in mind and with direct access to the Thalassotherapy Centre during the opening times of the Centre (entrance free, treatments on payment), as well as the external access;

Junior suites intercommunicating with double rooms (access from one room to the other from the veranda) are also available on request – a great solution for families.

Thalasso & SPA Centre “Le Thermae”
The modern and enchanting beauty centre has been developed in a perfect natural setting of granite rocks and covers an area of approximately 1600 sq.m. The centre consists of:

4 outdoor multi-function pools filled with sea water and heated to different temperatures for the Thalassotherapy circuit;
13 elegant private cabins for thalassotherapy treatments, massages and beauty treatments;
Turkish bath, sauna, relaxation area, cardio fitness rooms and reception.

Thalassotherapy consists of the knowledge and practical uses of the contents found in marine water which have marvellous positive effects on the body (toning, energising and draining) and on the mind (anti-stress).

Restaurants
Delphina is well known for its high quality restaurants and Valle dell’Erica exceeds all limits with its excellent cuisine, varied every evening for your pleasure. For dinner, with stupendous 180° views of the Archipelago, is available a rich and elegant buffet suiting all tastes or (on reservation, without supplement) attentive table service with candle light dinner to taste the particular proposes of our chef. Also available: a little area of the restaurant which is reserved for smokers. During peak-seasons unique and exclusive dinners directly on the beach , with fresh-fished sea food and sea specialties (on payment). The hotel can also offer, on request, a Mediterranena Brunch a light and tasty meals, without second courses meat and fish based, and without dessert. Upon request, at the moment of the reservation, personalized gluten-free menus. For lunch , the Mediterranean Brunch is available from 12.30 to 2.30 pm. Those who wish to discover Gallura region, can take advantage of the Brunch Around, during their excursions, in the different 4 star Hotels belonging to Delphina Group.

Sports
For the use of the guests (with a supplement payable locally) "Putt&Putt" 18 hole course and 3 hole “Pitch & Putt” inside the Resort, with natural and local grass; it is possible to join lessons, also for beginners, and hire clubs (pitch) to be arranged locally. Free lessons for children up to 15 years. On payment, possibility of riding trips, qualified school for diving and sailing in the nearby villages (transfers from the hotel to be paid extra).With this package, your body will dive deep into the genuine sea wealth, with oligo-elements and minerals which are necessary for your balance.

Baby Club & Mini Club
The Baby Club is on payment from 12 to 36 months, while the Mini Club is free from 3 to 11 years, and it's available 7 days a week from 9 am to 11 pm. Children can have lunch with the animation staff (with a lunch supplement for those without full boarda) in the dedicated restaurant, and have fun after dinner with amusing shows, suitable for children of all ages. During the day, they have at their complete disposal a swimming pool, separated from the main one, suitable for children of all ages.
