LOCATION

The resort is located in a privileged position on the north-eastern coast of Sardinia, in the heart of the Tavolara marine protected area, just minutes from some of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean such as Cala Brandinchi, Lu Impostu and La Cinta. Olbia is only a 25-minute drive away, making the resort easily accessible even for short stays.

The accommodation at the Grande Baia Resort & Spa is designed to offer comfort, privacy and an intimate connection with the surrounding nature. Whether it be the elegant hotel rooms or the functional flats in the residence, each solution is designed to guarantee a relaxing and tailor-made stay, immersed in the tranquillity of the Mediterranean maquis.

ROOMS

Furnished with understated taste and natural materials, the rooms overlook the manicured gardens or the swimming pool, and all feature large windows, a private terrace, marble floors, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, cable internet, minibar and safe.

Comfort Room (approx. 25 m²): ideal for a couple or small family, with a king-size double bed, reading corner and marble bathroom with bathtub and shower.

Junior Suite (approx. 46 m²): perfect for families of up to 4 persons, includes a spacious living area with a double sofa bed, relaxation area and private terrace.

Exclusive benefit: free access to the Spa wet area for the entire stay (excluding children under 16).

Suite (51 to 64 m²): maximum elegance and comfort, with a double bedroom, separate living room with sofa bed and armchairs, two separate areas for a holiday of space and relaxation.

RESIDENCE

In the heart of the nature park, but just a few minutes from the main services, the Residence flats offer the freedom of an independent holiday, combined with the services of the resort. Large spaces, functional furnishings and private terraces make them ideal for families or small groups.

Standard three-room flat (51 m²): spacious flat with living room, equipped kitchenette, double bedroom, twin bedroom, marble bathroom, terrace or veranda. Possibility of 5th bed for children.

Three-room Plus (56 m²): superior comfort with two marble bathrooms and views of gardens or the island of Tavolara. Fully equipped kitchen, living room, two bedrooms. Ideal for more demanding families.

Family Apartment (approx. 50 m²): practical and functional solution with living room-kitchen, double bedroom, separate bedroom with single beds and outdoor patio. Close to the resort's main services.

Three-room Sea View Apartment (51 m²): for those who want a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Tavolara and Molara. A bright flat with private veranda, equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and marble bathroom. A charming refuge to enjoy the most authentic Sardinia.

BEACH

A corner of natural paradise, the beach of La Pipara, also known as ‘Grande Baia’, is just a few minutes' walk from the heart of the resort. A path through the Mediterranean maquis - or a convenient free electric shuttle bus - leads to this sandy cove surrounded by nature, overlooking the Tavolara Protected Marine Area.
The beach service is free of charge and includes one sun umbrella and two sun beds per room, subject to availability. The first rows may be subject to a surcharge. In case of unavailability, you can use your own equipment.
The bay, with its crystal-clear, sheltered seabed, is ideal for snorkelling and genuine relaxation.

WELLNESS CENTRE

A complete regenerating experience awaits you at the Grande Baia Resort Spa, a temple of wellness inspired by the philosophy of thalassotherapy. Immersed in the tranquillity of Mediterranean nature, the Spa combines the elements of sea water, pure air and the Sardinian sun to offer exclusive treatments designed to rebalance the body and mind.

Thalasso & Water Area: 115 m² of outdoor pools with seawater at different temperatures, whirlpools and cervical waterfalls.

Saunas & Detox Paths: Finnish sauna, biosauna, salt steam bath, Kneipp path and emotional showers.

Relaxation Areas: indoor and outdoor areas dedicated to silence and meditation, for a regenerating break in the morning light or in the peace of the sunset.

Beauty treatments and massages: cabins dedicated to personalised treatments, also for couples, to restore harmony and radiance.

Access to the wet area is only allowed to guests over 16 years of age.

FAMILIES

The Grande Baia Resort is designed to offer families a safe, dynamic and stimulating environment. Children will be welcomed by an attentive and creative entertainment team, with activities designed for every age group: pool games, baby gym and recreational activities, evening baby dance and theme parties, shows and entertainment every evening.
The mini-club is dedicated to children from 4 years of age.

RESTAURANT

The gastronomic experience at the Grande Baia Resort & Spa is a journey into the authentic flavours of the Mediterranean, capable of satisfying every desire, from the simplest to the most refined. The Il Maestrale buffet restaurant, open for breakfast and dinner, welcomes guests with a wide range of traditional Mediterranean dishes, cooked on sight and presented in a rich buffet. Theme evenings, show cooking and the possibility of dining al fresco on the terrace make every meal a moment to remember.
For those who desire a more intimate and sophisticated dinner, the à la carte restaurant Il Libeccio offers dishes inspired by Sardinian cuisine revisited in a modern key, enhanced by a careful selection of local wines and served in an elegant setting, between the indoor dining room and the outdoor terrace. Open in high season, by reservation only, it is ideal for a special evening out.
The pizzeria Terrazza Soffi, with its spectacular view of the coast, is dedicated to the art of pizza in all its forms: from classic Neapolitan to more creative interpretations inspired by the flavours of the island. The service is à la carte, available in high season and subject to weather conditions.
The offer is completed by four bars located in different areas of the resort: the Pool Bar Tavolara, perfect for a snack or a drink by the pool; the Lounge Bar Molara, a refined evening meeting point with musical entertainment; the scenic Sky Bar Molarotto, ideal for an aperitif at sunset with a breathtaking view of the sea; and finally the Gelateria, open every afternoon until late in the evening, with homemade ice creams, crepes and sweet temptations for young and old.

The resort offers a wide range of sporting activities suitable for all ages and levels of fitness: artificial turf football pitches, tennis, sand volleyball, bowls, a fitness room equipped with modern machines, open daily, jogging paths and nature trekking trails, with links to the most beautiful beaches in the area, activities organised by the staff such as muscle toning, tournaments, excursions.

For travel, the resort provides a convenient free shuttle service to ‘La Pipara’ beach and, for a fee, connections to the centre of San Teodoro and the most popular beaches in the surroundings, such as La Cinta and Lu Impostu. 
Guests wishing to explore the surroundings independently can make use of car, scooter and bicycle rentals. The resort also features a well-stocked mini market with groceries, beach items and basic necessities, an ATM/ATM machine, as well as free Wi-Fi available in the rooms and public areas. A charging station for electric cars completes the offer, for a sustainable and carefree stay.
